Mathematics Textbooks
Textbook information for CR Mathematics courses is provided
below.

Selling textbooks at the end of the Fall 2011 semester
- Math 372: If you
borrowed a textbook from the library, then you will need to
return it at the end of the Fall semester.
- Math 376: If you
bought a printed version of the textbook and/or solutions
manual, then you can try to sell it privately to another
student.
- Math 380: There are no
options for selling your book, because the textbook will be
changed for the Spring 2012 semester.
- Math 120: If you
bought a printed version of the textbook and/or solutions
manual, then you can try to sell it privately to another
student.
- Math 5: If you
borrowed a textbook from the library, then you will need to
return it at the end of the Fall semester.
- Math 15: You may sell
your book back to the CR bookstore.
- Math 25 options:
- If you borrowed a textbook from the library, then you will
need to return it at the end of the Fall semester.
- If you purchased a 7th edition textbook:
- Keep your textbook if you are taking Math 30 in the
future.
- If you no longer need your textbook, we request that you
donate it to the Mathematics Department. We will then make
it available on loan to future Math 25 and Math 30 students.
- If you purchased a 8th edition textbook:
- Keep your textbook if you are taking Math 30 in the
future.
- If you no longer need your textbook, you can sell it back
to the CR Bookstore.
- Math 30 options:
- If you borrowed a textbook from the library, then you will
need to return it at the end of the Fall semester.
- If you purchased a 7th edition textbook:
- Keep your textbook if you are taking Math 25 in the
future.
- If you no longer need your textbook, we request that you
donate it to the Mathematics Department. We will then make
it available on loan to future Math 25 and Math 30 students.
- If you purchased a 8th edition textbook:
- Keep your textbook if you are taking Math 25 in the
future.
- If you no longer need your textbook, you can sell it back
to the CR Bookstore.
- Math 45: There are no
options for selling the textbook.
- Math 50A/50B/50C:
- If you borrowed a textbook from the library, then you will
need to return it at the end of the Fall semester.
Buying textbooks for the Spring 2012
semester
- Math 372:
- There is no need to purchase a textbook. Textbooks will be
available on loan from the library.
- Math 376:
- Each Math 376 student will be provided a free textbook and
solutions manual on CD.
The textbook and solutions manual are also available online at

- Many students find that they also want a printed version of
the textbook and/or solutions manual.
- You will be able to purchase a new printed version of
the textbook from lulu.com
for $20 plus shipping, and the solutions manual for $20
plus shipping.

- The textbook is available at the CR bookstore.
- Math 4:
- The textbook is available at the CR bookstore.
- An electronic version of the textbook is also available

- Math 5:
- There is no need to purchase a textbook. Textbooks will be

- You may purchase a 7th edition textbook online for $5-$15
from vendors such as amazon.com

- You may purchase an 8th edition textbook at the CR
Bookstore, but this will cost much more than the 7th edition
purchased online.
- Math 30:
