Math Department Meeting

Topics to be discussed:

• finishing up the Math 120 Course Outline
• District-wide changes to the “Misplaced student problem and Multiple Measures Process”

At this meeting we will be looking over and discussing the “Multiple Measures Process Changes and Misplaced Student Process” (attached to email sent Oct 3, 10:02AM). We also will be working on the CR GE justification for the Math 120 outline. This justification section of the Curriculum Proposal Form is new and it would be valuable if everyone could be present for the discussion. All Faculty are invited

Topics will include:

• Establishing and tracking student cohort groups
• Investigating trends over time
• Data currently attainable from Institutional Research
• Strategies for gathering data not collected currently
