Math and Science Core Course Schedule
2009-2011 (proposed)
version 1: January 31, 2009

In the tables that follow, the Mathematics, Science, and Engineering (MSE) division details a proposed two-year plan for scheduling what the division calls "core" math and science classes. These classes are typically offered in only one or two sections and correspond to classes needed by students majoring in the fields of biology, science, chemistry, physics, engineering, and mathematics.

The MSE division tries to schedule core classes to avoid conflicts, a difficult process to say the least. Therefore, when this two-year schedule is finalized, it will represent a commitment on the part of the MSE division to try to offer these courses at these days and times during the school years 2009-2010 and 2010-2011. This will provide an opportunity for math, science, and engineering students to plan out their course sequences in advance. However, note that it is always possible that staffing or enrollment issues may require some changes in the schedule.

Feedback

What is needed now is feedback, both from instructors and students. After studying the proposed two-year schedule, fill in any comments that you wish to make in the comment box located at the bottom of the page. If you see any potential problems or conflicts in the schedule, please let us know.

After filling in your comment, press the submit button and your comments will be sent to a database on our server. Thank you.
