Math 120 Movies
play in browser

This page contains links to video examples and mini-lectures. Each movie is about 5-10 minutes long. If you have a fast connection, you can just click on the link and it should open and play fairly quickly within your browser window.

All movies are in QuickTime format. If you don't have QuickTime installed, you can download it from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/    Alternatively, you can download the movies in podcast format.

If the movie does not play in your browser for some reason, try the QuickTime Player page. The movies on that page will open automatically in QuickTime Player.

If you have a slow connection, go to the QuickTime Player page. The movies on that page can be downloaded to your local disk and then viewed in QuickTime Player.

Captioned versions of these movies are available on the captioned movies page.

These movies are certainly not professional quality, but the video and audio should be clear. However, I cannot possibly test all browser configurations, screen sizes, etc., so please send me feedback on any technical problems that you experience. If these movies can be prepared in a more convenient form for you, please let me know.

Also, I'd like feedback on the mathematics content. Are these movies useful to you? Do you have other math questions that you'd like to see addressed in video form? If so, please send me a request.
