Floyd Bettiga Gallery

The College of the Redwoods Floyd Bettiga Gallery supports the coursework of the Art Department with exhibition programming that features innovative work by local, national, and international artists working in a variety of media — including painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, crafts, photography, graphic arts, and video. These exhibitions showcase diverse materials, techniques, and approaches to contemporary art making, and allow our students ready access to the technical mastery, experimentation, and reflective analysis found in professionally executed artworks. The gallery's emphasis on relevant creative practices beyond our local region gives students the opportunity to critically examine many forms of contemporary visual culture.
